About this product
The Pioneer OPUS-QUAD is a high-end 4-channel all-in-one DJ controller designed for professional use. It supports both Rekordbox and Serato DJ software. With 4 decks, 8 pads per deck, and built-in effects like delay, filter, and loop/sampler, this tabletop controller offers extensive creative control. It includes 2 mic inputs, 2 line inputs, and 2 phono inputs, making it versatile for various setups. The unit is a 1U rack-mountable size and operates on 100V-240V power. Made in Japan.
Our take
The OPUS-QUAD is a beast of a controller, clearly aimed at serious DJs. The build quality is top-notch, as expected from Pioneer. The 4-deck layout and extensive I/O make it perfect for complex sets, but it comes with a hefty price tag. I appreciate the dual software compatibility, though the learning curve is steep. The effects are crisp, and the pads are responsive. However, for a mobile DJ, the lack of built-in screens might be a drawback. And the 32-bit sampling rate is impressive, but I'm not sure many will notice the difference. Overall, it's a powerhouse, but only if you really need all those channels.
